2017-18 DLT Scholarship Announcement Stampa

Kindness, forgiveness and unbiased compassion provide a foundation for the greater benefit of all mankind. Being mindful of these three aspects enables us to not only recognize our inner most state of happiness, but also transcend into greater happiness, which in turn brings a positive effect to our global community.

As His Holiness often says, the "younger generation is the seed for our future humanity". Guided by the vision of His Holiness, the culture of compassionate responsibility lives on at The Dalai Lama Trust.

The Dalai Lama Trust is pleased to announce its seventh round of annual graduate scholarship grants for the academic year 2017-18. Ten to fifteen exceptional candidates of Tibetan descent will be selected to receive scholarship awards of up to US$10,000.

The DLT Scholarships are highly competitive supplementary bursary awards given to outstanding Tibetan graduate students pursuing a full-time graduate degree at any reputable University in Europe, Australia or North America. The purpose of the scholarship program is to further the human capital development of Tibetan people by encouraging the pursuit of excellence among Tibetan students in a graduate field of study that has relevance and potential to contribute to the welfare of humanity and the Tibetan people in particular.
